How do we carry out the production of CNC machining correctly?

When carrying out CNC machining, when dividing the process according to machining accuracy, rigidity and deformation of parts, the principle of separation of roughing and finishing should be followed to divide the process, that is, after the completion of the whole roughing semi-finishing and finishing should be carried out. In the case of a machined surface, it should be carried out in the order of roughing - pre-finishing - finishing. In roughing, the performance of the machine tool and the cutting performance of the tool should be fully utilized under the conditions that allow ensuring the machining quality, tool durability and rigidity of the process system machine-tool-chuck-tool-workpiece , and a greater depth of cut should be used as much as possible. , Less machining time can make the machining condition with the allowance of each part before finishing as uniform as possible, that is, most of the machining allowance can be quickly removed during roughing, the number of tool passes can be reduced as much as possible , and the rough machining time can be shortened.

What should we pay attention to after using CNC machining?

The primary objective of finishing is to enhance the precision of machining and achieve superior surface finishes for the parts. As a general practice, the final contour of the parts should be meticulously refined using the last cutting tool during the finishing process. To ensure optimal machining quality, it is typically advised to leave a finishing allowance of 0.2 to 0.6 mm.

Ideally, a certain period of time should be allowed between roughing and finishing stages. This time lapse allows the parts to fully restore their shape after roughing, which ultimately contributes to improved machining accuracy for the parts.

What are the dividing steps of CNC machining?

The division of CNC machining processes can be generally carried out in the following ways:

1.The tool-centered sorting method is to divide the process according to the tools used, and use the same tool to process all the parts that can be finished on the part. They do the rest with the second cutter, the third. This can reduce the number of tool changes, shorten non-productive time and reduce unnecessary positioning errors.

2. for parts with many processing contents, the processing part can be divided into several parts according to its structural characteristics, such as inner shape, outer shape, curved surface or plane and so on. Generally, the plane and positioning surface are processed first. and then the hole is processed; the simple geometric shape is processed first, and then the complex geometric shape is processed; The parts with lower precision are processed first, and then the parts with higher precision are processed.

3. for parts that are prone to deformation due to roughing and finishing, the shape must be corrected due to the deformation that may occur after roughing. Therefore, in general, when roughing and finishing, the process should be separated.
