The arch is sufficiently large, smooth, and complete. The pressure area and the various cavities should meet the respective pressure test requirements, and the size and shape of each valve seat hole should meet the accuracy requirements. In particular, each valve seat hole and valve plug surface should have a good sealing condition. The material for cylinder heads with a cylinder diameter of less than 400 mm is usually gray cast iron such as HT400; cylinder heads with a diameter of more than 400 mm are usually made of nodular cast iron such as QT60-2. Many large low-speed diesel engines use cast steel cylinder heads or combined cast iron and steel cylinder heads.
